TeamPAWS - Support Chicago's largest No-Kill Shelter

October 10 is my special birthday, 10-10-10 (get it?!?) For my birthday, I'm asking you to send money, but it is not for me. October 10, 2010 is also the date of the Bank of America Chicago Marathon. After a hiatus, I will be running the marathon as a member of TeamPAWS.

PAWS Chicago (Pets Are Worth Saving) is Chicago's largest No-Kill shelter. I am raising money to help the homeless dogs and cats in Chicago. If you have a pet, had a pet, wish you had a pet, or you're just a gosh-darn nice person, I hope you will support me as I run the Chicago Marathon for our four-legged friends.

Charity Navigator (the nation's largest independent charity evaluator) has awarded PAWS Chicago with the highest Four Star rating and says PAWS Chicago is one of the best run charities in the country for conscientious use of donor funds. Every dollar I raise will go directly to saving homeless pets.
